Unlike its rivals, the Eurowall 50 is the first external PIR to cover the area directly below its mounting point. It covers a full 60m curtain area in front and has a mounting height of 4.5m. This ensures that Eurowall 50 provides a greater level of security than any other device of its kind manufactured today.
The Eurowall can be used as part of an integrated security system protecting external areas by connection to an intruder alarm system and simultaneously control a CCTV system. The Eurowall is so advanced that it can be used in conjunction with a proprietary Intruder Alarm Panel to protect external areas adjacent to a protected property, for instance industrial storage sites, without suffering high levels of false alarms.
The Eurowall will not produce false alarms when sited to the manufactures specifications and can be relied upon 100%, is impossible to fool and totally unable to be defeated, the Eurowall is the world’s only fully developed external PIR.
The Eurowall is used in our Sentry 5000 external detection system. The pilot site for this system was the London’s Transport Museum reserve collection housed in a modern building located in the Acton area which contains thousands of, some of them priceless. The Sentry 5000 puts a continuous Infra Red curtain around the external profile of the building from a height of 4.5 meters to ground level using the Eurowall 50. This allows traffic and personnel to come and go as they please, as long as they do not approach the building. In the event of an alarm the system alerts the Museum staff via a radio message warning of an attack with its precise location on the building perimeter. At the same time it directs the CCTV system to record the location of the attempted beam penetration. The Sentry 5000 has been in use at this location for the last ten years and is completely false alarm free: it has also been almost maintenance free during that time period.
